**About the role**:
We are seeking committed and enthusiastic Sports Coaches, working under the direction of the Head of Department - Sport and High Performance, and employed on a casual basis. The Glennie School prides itself on having state of the art sports facilities to support it coaches and students in achieving exceptional results.
We are hiring coaches for the following sports:
- Touch Football
- Rugby 7s
- Rugby League
- Netball
- Volleyball
- Basketball
- Football (soccer)
- Futsal
- Athletics (Throws)
- Cross Country
The coaches will be required to coach students and prepare them for competition.
The Glennie School prides itself on the values that require the successful applicant to be supportive of the Anglican Ethos and comply with all state and legislative requirements under the operation of an independent school.
**About You**:
The successful applicants will have a passion for sport and the ability to establish and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider school community.
- Relevant qualifications or demonstrated experience of your preferred sport.
- Proven ability to work as a constructive member of a team in a professional, courteous manner.
- Maintain a degree of flexibility in working hours from time to time as required for the position.
- Demonstrated experience in communication, organisation, time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritise and multi-task.
- An ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Able to engage and work with a range of stakeholders, particularly young people and their parents.
- Ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
- Familiarity with legal obligations relating to child safety including mandatory reporting requirements.
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card Blue Card, in accordance with ‘No Card, No Start law’, as per the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000.
