This position would suit a degree or diploma qualified Mechanical Engineer with established experience working within the Heavy Industrial sector or Water sector. This role would suit a versatile Designer who thrives on diverse technical challenges and has a desire and ability to lead and mentor a others. You have ideally acquired design skills in AutoDesk Plant3D and/or Aveva E3D, in both modelling and drafting. Working amongst a group of highly motivated professionals, you will step into an open and supportive culture that values the skills you contribute to the group.**To be successful in this role you should**
**demonstrate**
**the following skills**:
Develop & mange the development of 3D CAD models from process diagrams, sketches, 3D scans, vendor supplied models, verbal instructions, internal and external design standards and past proven designs. Modelled items are typically positioned appropriately within the plant, potentially consisting of tanks, pumps, pipes and supports, conveyors, material handling equipment and industrial ducting.
- Design skills in AutoDesk Plant3D and/or Aveva E3D.
- Digital engineering and BIM management across multidisciplinary projects-
- Preparing 2D deliverables from the model such as layouts or isometrics using examples and project requirements to either Beca and/or Client Standards.
- Seek continuous improvement in the design process, including the use of new technology.
- Develop and foster internal relationships that contribute to a successful project for both our clients and yourself.
