Mainstay Medical is a medical device company focused on marketing an innovative implantable neurostimulation system, ReActiv8®, for people with disabling chronic mechanical Low Back Pain. The company is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, with subsidiaries operating in Ireland, the United States, Australia, Germany, and the Netherlands.

**The Role**

This role is responsible for the structured development of the ReActiv8 therapy in the Australian marketplace (Neuro Spine, Ortho Spine, Interventional Pain, Interventional Sports Medicine specialists). This is a business development role of a unique medical therapy with the primary function of driving territory expansion.

Responsible for building a sustainable therapy across the potential customer base in your specified region through establishing key therapy champions whilst implementing an effective long-term sales plan and marketing strategy to achieve territory sales growth and forecasts.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Effectively manage existing and new accounts through contract negotiation, Reactiv8 therapy presentation, attending product implantation and patient programing, communicating changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
- Develop and execute a long-term business plan to change established behaviours of target customers to position ReActiv8 as a primary/first line option for the indicated CLBP patient group. This plan will work in tandem with the Mainstay procedural selling model.
- Influence procedural change in target accounts through identifying the needs of new prospects and developing appropriate responses to facilitate therapy expansion (written, telephone and face-to-face).
- Perform field calls including operating/emergency room consultation, support, and education for ReActiv8 surgical training.
- Organize and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required.
- Work effectively with Clinical Specialist Team to execute strategic sales, physician, and clinical training and educational programs.
- Role responsibilities include maintaining privacy and confidentiality of patient and company information, acting ethically and with integrity, and report non-compliance by adhering to applicable laws and regulations, and Company policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in direct-to-patient marketing activities where required.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of medical device sales experience in the Spine, Ortho or Neuromodulation medical device space.
- Must be comfortable in operating room environments.
- Must be able to demonstrate examples of positively influencing customer behaviour over an established norm/product/procedure.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
