Then the Energy Resources of Australia (ERA) Ranger rehabilitation project is what you’re looking for After more than 35 years’ operating as a successful uranium mine, the Ranger Project is entering its rehabilitation stage and offers an exciting opportunity for you to make a positive impact on the environment.

ERA has engaged the global engineering firm, Bechtel, to support ERA as Delivery Partner for ongoing study work. Bechtel will be working alongside ERA and major stakeholder Rio Tinto to restore the land to the status of its surrounding World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park. A collaborative project, this project will be developed in consultation with the Mirarr Traditional Owners and will benefit the Jabiru community. Located 8 km east of Jabiru and 260 km south-east of Darwin, the Ranger Project will lead the way in the fast-growing area of mining closures.

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responds to customers’ needs, questions and concerns and expedites actions in an accurate, effective and timely manner.
- Maintains, Diagnoses and resolves local IT Infrastructure, hardware & software related issues, while seeking to continuously improve incident resolution and customer service standards. Areas of support will include desktop/laptop computer hardware, mobile devices peripherals, networking, video conference, office printing equipment.
- Support the Project’s automation strategy by installing and maintaining software from an approved suite of Company and Project standards
- Facilitate project systems reporting, data integration and work process review and improvement
- Deploy and provides end user hardware and IT services to internal users in Bechtel offices locally.
- Follow standard operating procedures for IT request, incident services to the end-user and asset management practices.
- Assists and participates in the rollout of new technologies, services and security remediations.
- Assists in the IS&T equipment procurement process.

**About you - we will be looking for the following skills and experience**:

- Eager to learn a broad array of general IS&T skills in infrastructure, systems, software, data integration and reporting
- Flexibility to travel and work in a regional construction site location on a Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) arrangement
- Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Builds productive and collaborative internal/external working relationships.
- Preferably tertiary qualified and with ideally 1-2 years of industry experience.
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft 365 products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
