**About the Role**

The Qualified Duty Technician possesses the Trade certificate (HVAC/R and Electrical licence, HVAC/R). Responsible for all preventative and breakdown maintenance in the below further discussed areas under the direction of the Assistant Chief Engineer and/ or Director of Engineering. The Duty Technician performs scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces as required.

**Critical responsibilities**:

- Follow guest room preventive maintenance checklist for each room.
- Performs scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms
- Assist in maintaining the systems integrity of the facility boiler systems, pumps, ventilation systems, plumbing, water and sewage systems.
- Assist with preventative and breakdown maintenance in the following areas under the direction if the Assistant Chief Engineer and/or Director of Engineering (where applicably licensed):

- lamps/re-lamping,
- Refrigeration/ Air Conditioning;
- Electrical Motors (Pumps);
- Laundry Equipment;
- Kitchen Equipment/ Cool rooms;
- Ventilation Systems;
- Control Systems;
- Electrical systems;
- Tagging Portable - Semi Portable Equipment;
- Engineering Equipment;
- A.V. Equipment;
- Gym Equipment;
- Associated paper work with Maintenance tasks;
- Ordering parts and supplies
- Cleaning of Plant Rooms as required;
- Recording of Contractors as required;
- Other Duties as specified.
- Available to work morning and afternoon shifts and over weekends
- Restricted Electrical License
- AirCon and Refrigeration License
- Excellent Time Management Skills And Ability To Meet Deadlines
