Drafter - Electrical, Power & Energy

**The Role**

We are currently seeking a talented Electrical Drafter to join our Power & Energy team in North Sydney or Newcastle and contribute to the successful delivery of SMEC’s Renewable and Energy projects.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Drafting and / or designing of large scale solar and wind farms
- Underground and Overhead drafting and / or designing
- Production of layout drawings, single line diagrams, etc.
- Delivering projects under strict timescales, whilst ensuring quality performance meets with SMEC objectives
- Liaising with the engineering team, external stakeholders, and client for project specifications and details
- Contributing to bid preparation and providing technical input across other disciplines where needed

**About You**
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma or equivalent professional tertiary qualifications in Drafting (Electrical)
- Minimum 3 years industry experience as an Electrical Drafter or Designer
- AutoCAD proficiency
- Familiar with MicroStation and Revit (desirable)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work within a high performing team environment
