The Groove Train - **Chirnside Park** is looking for an experienced and customer focused **Front of House Supervisor** to lead our team. The Groove Train is an iconic brand with over 25 restaurants across Australia.

The successful applicant will have a “hands on” approach to smooth daily operations, provide leadership, guidance, and support. Maintain a positive working environment, and join us as we continue to grow across the nation.

With more stores in the design stage, we are looking for motivated hospitality professionals to join our growing team. This roll comes with the ability to upskill and cross train. **Qualifications & experience**
- Proven experience in a similar roll.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- Strong attention and an eye for detail.
- A passionate team player with a personable nature.
- The ability to remain calm and can work well under pressure.

Tasks & Responsibilities _include but not limited to_
- Provide leadership and support to staff.
- Role model appropriate behaviours and standards.
- Supervise the performance of all front of house team members to ensure productivity and standards are met.
- Ensure all staff are trained in and adhere to OH&S guidelines as outlined in The Groove Train training modules.
- Comply and implement all Health and Safety Food Hygiene requirements, ensuring that the storage of food meets the criteria.
- Identify training needs and implement training activities to maintain and enhance service levels.
- Manage labour cost in line with the budget.
- Manage stock rotation and ensure all store rooms/ fridges and freezers are in order.
- Rostering employee costs in line with budget.
- Maintance and repairs within compliance and budget.

The Groove Train Restaurant, Bar & Café started on the streets of Richmond, Melbourne in 1998. It delivers flavourful, bold dishes and appeals to groups of friends that come for the food but linger over drinks and conversation. We are passionate about our level of warm customer service. Today there are over 20 Groove Train restaurants across WA, QLD, NT & VIC with more new stores in the design phase.

**Salary**: $56,900.00 - $63,000.00 per year
