This role requires someone who enjoys working with data and is comfortable using it to drive improvements in procurement processes. You'll join a collaborative team that values teamwork and offers strong support from procurement specialists and data experts.***

We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our client's team for an initial 12 month contract, with potential for extension. This role will support procurement activities for a large volume of goods and spare parts across Australia, with a focus on data analysis and improving procurement processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Interpret and analyse high volumes of spend data to support category objectives and improve procurement outcomes.
- Manage SAP outline agreements and material master data to enhance transactional efficiency and data integrity.
- Collaborate closely with Category Specialists on data consolidation and trend analysis, providing insights to drive decision-making.
- Implement automation tools and streamline processes, particularly around price file management and requests for quotes.
- Work with stakeholders to provide detailed spend reporting and interactive dashboards using Power BI, improving visibility and enabling better procurement decisions.***

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced) and Power BI, with experience handling large data sets for stakeholder use.
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on data interpretation and providing actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with a proactive approach to understanding team needs.
- Prior experience in procurement, data analysis, or a commercial environment, ideally working with large datasets. A background in FMCG or similar industries would be beneficial.
