Thoroughbred Farm Manager

Cityview Farm is seeking an experienced full-time live in Manager to join our team.

We operate as a racehorse agistment and mare spelling farm located in Gisborne South 45 minutes from Melbourne CBD in Melbourne Australia.

You will be responsible for the following:

- Daily routine of feeding, care of horses and usual stable duties
- Identifying injuries and health issues and treating accordingly
- Administering medication and treatments as instructed by the vet
- Scheduling of routine vetting, farrier visits, feed suppliers and other related service providers
- Manage a small team of staff
- Record-keeping with assistance from office staff
- Transporting horses
- Communication to owners as required
- Some foaling care, handling and weaning if experienced
- A current driver’s license and ability towing a float

This is a live on site position with a 3 bedroom house supplied and use of company vehicle. Salary is dependent on experience and working holiday visa applicants with the relevant experience are welcome to apply.
