One of Australia’s leading diversified food and agribusiness companies is currently seeking experienced
**Knife Hands**, and
**Your Responsibilities will include**:
- Cut, trim, de-bone, and portion meat products according to specifications
- Operate meat processing equipment and tools, such as grinders, slicers, and knives
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies
- Assist in training new employees
- Understanding and complying with all safety policies, procedures, and practices
**Your Essential Skills and Experience**:
- At least 2 years of experience in processing meat, ideally pork, meat trimming and slicing
- Knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques
- Familiarity with meat processing equipment and tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work different shifts and weekends, if required
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
