Exciting opportunity for a Cultural Heritage Advisor

Windlab is hiring and we want you to join our team. The position can be located in Brisbane or Townsville with frequent visit to site. About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of Windlab projects. You will support in the management and coordination of all aspects of Culture Heritage and related engagement with stakeholders.

Working closely with Windlab’s community team, you will assist in developing strategies which either support the management and mitigation of issues and risk or address contractual commitments with Traditional Owner Groups and their entities.

You will develop and manage project cultural heritage compliance program (Including development of project specific Cultural Heritage Compliance Plan, survey requests, review of survey outcome reports, upkeep of GIS mapping of CH cleared areas to development approval layouts).

**Addition skills/experience**
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act, 2021
- Prior experience in preparing aboriginal survey requests, and cultural heritage management plans is essential
- Knowledge of Commonwealth and State Indigenous cultural heritage legislation, regulation, policy, and guidelines
- A significant track record of engaging effectively with Aboriginal parties within Queensland Australia Relevant tertiary qualifications within Archaeology, cultural heritage or an area that reflects this area of expertise
