**Casual opportunity**

Located 40 minutes outside of Toowoomba, Crows Nest Aged Care Service is an 80-bed, resident care service offering a range of personal care, therapies and accommodation.

**About the role**

An opportunity exists for Environmental Service Workers to join our team in the delivery of services to our residents. You will be a hands-on individual looking for diversity in a role. You will be responsible for undertaking kitchen and cleaning duties in a variety of areas including the main kitchen, kitchenettes, serveries, bedrooms, dining rooms and cleaning areas.

**About you**

You are an enthusiastic reliable worker who enjoys being a team player and yet can work autonomously. You have compassion for the elderly and are passionate about maintaining an environment suitable to their needs.

Ideally you will have:

- Certificate II in Cleaning Operations and/or Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or similar is desirable but not essential;
- Experience working in the Aged Care industry is desirable;
- Experience working in commercial kitchens and operating equipment associated with cleaning and laundry is desirable;
- Current National Police Certificate or the ability to acquire.
- Under Churches of Christ policy and/or the applicable public health directions, team members are _**_required to be up to date with_**_ their COVID-19 Vaccination.
