**About Us**

We assist financial services organisations with their Australian Financial Services Licence (**AFSL**) compliance and Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (**AML/CTF**) compliance.

**About This Role (Casual or Part Time)**

This role is highly flexible and you will have an opportunity to make it your own. As a start, you will be:

- assisting with AFSL and AML compliance projects
- conducting regulatory research
- summarising and proofing documents
- ad-hoc marketing and admin tasks

**About You**

**You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or equivalent. **You must be (A) a _current law student_ having completed a minimum of 6 law units, or (B) be a paralegal or legal secretary looking for casual or part-time employment**. The following attributes are must-haves:

- strong communication skills and attention to detail;
- proficient with Ms Word and Ms Excel, especially formatting;
- excellent research skills with the ability to compile concise and meaningful summaries and notes of cases and regulatory instruments;
- ability to observe, learn and perform under pressure;
- critical thinking.

**Advantages**
- Fluent speaking and writing in Mandarin.
- Prior knowledge on financial products (esp managed investment schemes, foreign exchange and contracts for difference), remittance and digital currency exchange.

**Location**

We are based in the Sydney CBD. Flexible working arrangements, including working in the office, working from home, or a combination of both, as long as work can be done efficiently and satisfactorily.
