**Anti-Money Laundering Advisory Analyst**
The Star is in an exciting time of renewal and transformation, we are now seeking a dedicated Anti-Money Laundering Advisory Analyst to assist reviewing the implementation and ongoing operation of the groups AML/CTF Program across the AML Operations team and the wider business including all associated controls and risk systems.
**About the role**
- Assist with reviewing the operational aspects of the groups AML/CTF program to identify if the processes associated with managing the groups AML Risks are operating correctly and that all reporting obligations are being met.
- Assist with the AML Advisory Manager in the review of the financial crime program as well as the associated processes and operational controls to identify opportunities for improvement and enhancement of AML policies, procedures and the related controls.
- Assist with ongoing evaluations of AML/CTF controls throughout the groups operations for continuous business improvement and innovation.
- Undertake market research and analysis to identify and report on ‘best-in-industry’ practices that may enhance The Star’s current AML/CTF Program.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of AML/CTF governance, policies, standards and processes.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Validated experience in an assurance or risk management role gained in a big 4 environment, financial services organisation, corporation, or government agency.
- CA/CPA, CAMS certification and/or CAMS (Audit) or similar is desirable
- Experience in risk management and/or assurance, ISO standards, project and change management or business analytics.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team.
