Operators - Multiple Roles

**Due to an increase of manufacturing in all our departments, we have more opportunities for Operators to join our steel manufacturing plant in Waratah, Newcastle**

**About the role**
No need to travel for hours to the Valley to search for overtime in your pay, our roles include; rotating shift patterns, overtime, penalties and a variety of role opportunities. You will be contributing to the manufacturing of our high quality steel products in either our Rail, Steelmaking or Bar Mill departments. You will be permanent full-time employees of Molycop so there will be no need to worry about ending contracts, no leave entitlements or non-secure employment.

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

- forklift operation (up to 16T)
- overhead crane operation (remote, pendant and cabin controlled)
- machine/equipment operation
- oiling and greasing
- basic dogging
- general labouring duties
- loading and unloading of heavy vechicles
- preparing and packaging finished products

Critical in this role is your ability to follow all quality and safety procedures, standards and systems and work as part of a team.

**About you**
For this role, you will have:

- Effective communication skills
- Experience working in a heavy industry environment, but not essential
- Ability to operate autonomously with a high attention to detail
- A positive can-do attitude
- Demonstrated commitment to working safely and leading by example
