**About the role**

**_Venture Smart_** is a 50/50 joint venture between **Ventia** and **Johnson Controls** (JCI) to providing ongoing Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) maintenance services & electrical capital works state wide for **Main Roads WA.**

**What you will need**:

- High Risk Work License - LF (Forklift) Skilled in both Counter Balance and high reach
- MR Drivers License (Desierable)
- 4+ Years experience in a equivalent role
- SAP Experience preferred
- Strong Numeracy and English Language skills
- Experience with MS Suite particular Word, Outlook & Excel.
- Experience with Quality assurance and control
- Experience with Logistics and scheduling

**What you’ll be doing**:
The Storeperson role is responsible for the delivery of a proactive, safe and efficient stores enabling the operational team to focus on delivery activities.
- Ensuring the timely, accurate management of stock requests, transfers and returns whilst assisting in the ongoing monitoring of business min / max levels.
- Facilitating and tracking stores materials for warranty returns ensuring accurate documentation.
- Fostering a safe working environment and identify and hazards.
- The receipt and storage of deliveries
- High reach forklift activities, Loading, delivery, and movement of parts between warehouse locations
- Regular liaison with suppliers, stores team, and operational leads to provide a reliable and consistent high level of service.
- Stock-take at all warehouse locations across WA and of mobile vehicle warehouses.
- Waste management to ensure safe disposal and maximisation of recovery for resaleable items and minimizing wastage where possible.
- Contacting Vendors for quotes, delivery schedules and general communications.
