**Your day to day**
Join us as a Kitchen Steward at Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific. You'll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, we're looking for someone who is an energetic and dedicated who is looking for an exciting opportunity to join our team.

As a member of our Stewarding team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchens, in addition to a maintaining a constant supply of equipment and clean utensils for our food and beverage outlets. You’ll also undertake general kitchen duties such as collecting all rubbish, maintaining the cleanliness of bins and the rubbish room and undertaking other additional cleaning tasks and schedules. This role will require you to carry, lift and push items such as plates, trolleys, garbage bins as well as handling food products, utensils, chemicals and cleaning detergents.

You'll be a confident person who is motivated and deadline driven in order to support the food and beverage operation, whilst maintaining a high standard of hygienic standards and practices.

**What we need from you**
To be successful in this role we are looking for a great communicator, you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to, someone with a passion for service and cookery and working as a team. You’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths and be flexible to work nights, weekends and holiday shifts as they are all part of the job. Sometimes you’ll need to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) and this can involve bending and kneeling. Previous experience as a kitchen hand is highly desirable.
