We’re looking for someone who loves music, connects well with children, and enjoys helping students discover the joy of learning piano in a supportive and creative environment.

About the Role

We’re seeking a warm, enthusiastic **Piano Teacher** to join our growing team on a **casual basis**.
This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy working with **beginner to intermediate** students and who value creating positive, engaging lessons that build confidence and musical understanding.

Lesson times vary from week to week and are typically scheduled:

- **Weekdays**: 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- **Saturdays**: 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Lessons are held mainly during **school terms**, with some opportunities for extra work during **school holidays**.

What You’ll Do
- Teach both **private** and **group piano lessons** in a friendly, encouraging environment.
- Keep **student progress reports** up to date for each student.
- Plan and deliver lessons that inspire growth and enthusiasm for music.
- Maintain a professional and caring approach with students, families, and colleagues.

What You’ll Need
- Minimum **Grade 5 AMEB** (or equivalent such as **ABRSM** or **Trinity**).
- Current **Working With Children Check** (or willingness to obtain one).
- Availability during **after-school hours** and/or **Saturday mornings and afternoons**.
- A love of helping students build strong, confident musical foundations.
