A Prestigious Federal Government Department is looking to engage a skilled and experienced **Cyber Security Assessor **join there multi skilled team based in **Canberra** The successful **Cyber Security Assessor **will be developing security compliance processes and/or audits for external services The successful **Cyber Security Assessor** will secure an initial **12-month** contract partnered with a **12- month **extension option and **lucrative hourly rates.**
The successful **Cyber Security Assessor** will be responsible for:
- Perform security reviews and identify security gaps in security architecture.
- Participate in Risk Governance processes to provide security risk and mitigations.
- Conducts independent comprehensive assessments of the management, operational, and technical security controls.
- Preparing and presenting briefings.
The successful **Cyber Security Assessor** will have experience in the following:
- Current industry knowledge of methods for evaluating, implementing, and disseminating security assessments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Experienced in assessing the effectiveness of security controls.
- Technical writing, including developing and editing assessment products.
