Our client is seeking an experienced Shed Loader Operator to join their team. This position is based at Chinchilla, South Queensland.
**About the role**
This is a permanent opportunity to work with a well-known feedlot based at Chinchilla. As a Loader Operator, you will be committed to safety, working independently and have a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities may include:
- Set up and operate machinery
- Perform daily loader start-up checks and related maintenance tasks
- Using digital platforms for effective loader operation to ensure correct feed batching
- Ability to work to daily targets to ensure efficient feeding operations
- Load and batch feed with safety, accuracy and efficiency
- Clean and maintain the commodity shed and loader
Hourly rates: $27.96 per hour + OT and loadings Shift Timings: 6.00am and 4.00pm Roster: 10:4
Onsite Accommodation available
**About you**
Ideally, you have experience in a similar environment:
- Experienced Loader Operator
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience and interest in animal nutrition in a feedlot environment
- Strong focus on, and knowledge of, Workplace Health and Safety and the ability to participate in the development, implementation & monitoring of policies and procedures
