**About the Role**
The role requires resilient and motivated individuals to work with high support participants with Huntington disease and mental health.

The current position offered is only open for **Female** support workers with experience in complex high needs support and Male support worker with experience in supporting NDIS participants with mental health diagnosis.

**Flexibility is essential to take on shifts available 24/7 including Active nights**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Personal care: dressing, toileting, and showering
- Domestic duties including meal preparation, shopping, housekeeping, and cleaning
- Assist Participants with medication
- High intensity support activities
- Behaviour support for Participant with Mental Health and Huntington disease
- CAS

**Skills & Experience**
- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Experience in managing continence aid
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
- Must have a QLD driver’s licence and own reliable transport
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS ‘Worker Orientation’ module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Proof of vaccination against COVID-19
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
