**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Reporting to the NSW Technical Manager, you will be responsible for managing quality assurance activities, driving systems compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your day to day will involve investigating non-conformances (NCR) with key stakeholders, gathering data and responding to our customers in a time-critical manner.

You will be a proactive team player with a high sense of urgency, keen ability to prioritise and a customer-centric mindset while working in a fast-paced environment and you are passionate about driving best practice in quality assurance.

The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Managing NCRs daily; conducting root cause analysis, supporting corrective actions and following up verifications.
- Product/Material testing as per requirement both daily and weekly.
- Conducting internal product and quality audits.
- Identifying product quality problems, working closely with the operations teams in facilitating root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Assist in maintenance and improvement of HACCP/ ISO/ National quality standard compliance.
- Delivering training to educate the operations team on technical/quality compliance.
- Adhering to all safety and environmental policies and procedures.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Qualification in Applied Science or Engineering or previous experience in FMCG or packaging industry.
- Working knowledge of Quality systems and standards (ISO 9001, HACCP).
- Demonstrated experience in internal auditing.
- Computer literacy is essential Advanced Excel, Word & other tools in the Microsoft Office/Google suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to draw out meaningful information and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- High levels of attention to detail and a keen interest in maximising efficiencies.
