An exciting opportunity awaits you as an **Allied Health Assistant (AHA) Exercise Scientist** at **Inspire Health and Wellness Centre**.

**Position Overview**

We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Allied Health Assistant with experience in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will support the work of Accredited Exercise Physiologists by assisting in program delivery, client engagement, and administrative support. This position provides a valuable pathway to grow your practical skills and gain experience in a supportive and collaborative setting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist Exercise Physiologists with implementing individualized exercise programs for clients with a range of health conditions, including musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and neurological issues.
- Support clients in completing exercises safely and effectively, providing motivation and encouragement.
- Monitor client progress during sessions and communicate feedback to supervising Exercise Physiologists.
- Prepare equipment and ensure a clean and safe environment for sessions.
- Contribute to administrative tasks such as updating client records, booking appointments, and managing equipment.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, or a related field (with or working toward ESSA registration).
- Demonstrated experience in assisting with client exercise programs in clinical or community settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and initiative.
- Passionate about promoting physical health and well-being.
- Ability to work under supervision and follow directions from senior team members.
- Currently completing a degree in Exercise Physiology
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Working with Children Check.
- National Police Check.
- Driver’s License (preferred).

**Additional Information**:
This role is available on a part-time or casual basis, with flexible hours to suit your schedule.
