Your Way" - And of course great people, great culture and great work **About you** You will have 2-3 years of post-admission experience with particular exposure to intellectual-property related matters, preferably including trade mark prosecution, general commercial IP advisory through to dispute resolution. You will demonstrate intellectual property advisory experience and a commercial approach. You are a self-starter and solution-orientated with strong technical legal and drafting skills and a commitment to providing quality client service. You will have the ability to work autonomously and will bring a high level of energy, enthusiasm, flexibility and drive to meet client requirements. You will have highly developed communication and inter-personal skills and be a team player who enjoys working as part of a friendly team with like-minded individuals. **Your role** Working alongside our highly experienced partners, your role will involve: - providing intellectual property advice in relation to trade mark prosecution, brand protection, copyright and designs, IP rights enforcement and IP licensing; - advising in relation to aspects of the Australian Consumer Law, including with respect to misleading or deceptive conduct, as well as passing off; - acting in relation to intellectual property disputes and litigation, generally with a focus on trade mark, copyright, misleading or deceptive conduct, passing off, breach of confidence and design infringement disputes; - drafting, reviewing and negotiating general commercial contracts with an intellectual property element, such as distribution, licensing and manufacturing agreements; and - undertaking and project managing IP due diligence on corporate transactions. Experience in providing clearance advice with respect to advertising and marketing communications viewed favourably. In addition to the provision of legal advice, you will be directly involved in business development initiatives, client management and development of graduates and junior staff. **About Gadens** Gadens is a leading, independent Australian law firm, with a clear vision and strategy for the future.
