**Key Accountabilities**:
- **Sales Strategy & Execution**: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth in the wind turbine and wind farm sectors across the Asia Pacific region.
- **Client Relationship Management (CRM)**: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, contractors, government bodies, and utility companies. Regularly track and follow up on leads and opportunities to ensure sustained engagement and customer satisfaction.
- **Client Lifecycle Management**: Manage the client lifecycle from initial contact through project delivery and post-project support, ensuring ongoing communication and a high level of customer satisfaction.
- **Market Analysis**: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands across Asia Pacific to identify new business opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- **Sales Target Achievement**: Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities for Suzlon’s wind turbine and wind farm solutions.
- **Tender & Proposal Management**: Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for large-scale wind farm projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and Suzlon’s capabilities.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts and successful project delivery.
- **Contract Negotiation**: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure the best possible outcome for both the client and Suzlon.
- **Reporting & Forecasting**: Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- **Brand Promotion**: Act as a brand ambassador for Suzlon, promoting the company’s values, capabilities, and sustainability initiatives within the industry.
- **Customer Feedback & Retention**: Maintain consistent communication with clients, ensuring their needs are met and feedback is gathered to improve services. Proactively engage with customers to drive retention and expand the client base.
**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum of **5 years** of experience in sales, business development, or project management within the **wind energy sector**, with expertise in wind turbines and service selling.
- Strong understanding of the wind energy market, including wind turbine technologies, project development, and the **regulatory environment in the Asia Pacific region**.
- Familiarity with wind turbine technology, grid integration, and project management is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships manually, using spreadsheets, notes, or other tools to track interactions, opportunities, and project progress.
- Ability to **travel across the Asia Pacific region** as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Results-driven with a strong focus on **customer satisfaction and long-term relationship building**.
