Looking to spark a successful electrical career within your local community?

Maxima and the City of Salisbury are seeking a driven individual to undertake an electrotechnology apprenticeship to become an Electrician.

This rewarding opportunity will see you working fulltime across 4 years, gaining hands-on experience and paid study to gain a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.**

In this position you will be working within one of Adelaide’s largest and fast-growing councils located within the Northern Suburbs, maintaining, and repairing facilities using a wide variety of industry equipment and skills.

**Duties**:

- Maintenance of council properties
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Inspect electrical components
- Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Follow state and local regulations based on the national electric code

**About You**:

- Passion in all thing’s electronics
- Love working hands-on
- Strong work ethic; punctual and reliable
- Ability to follow directions and work under limited supervision
- Demonstrated attention to detail and initiative
- Possess good physical fitness to perform manual tasks

**Requirements**:

- Must hold a provisional or full driver’s licence and own vehicle
- Completed a Certificate II in Electrotechnology and/or Electronics (desirable)
- High mechanical aptitude
- Must satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment
