- Certificate III or Equivalent in Arboriculture
- Valid HR or MR Licence
- EWP Licence
- Chainsaw Ticket
- Woodchipper, stump grinding competency
- White Card

**Abilities & Character qualities -**
- Tree identification skills i.e. common names (preferred)
- Ability to identify maintenance issues in equipment and undertake general equipment maintenance
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Enthusiasm and physical fitness
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and with a good work history
- Able to undertake manual/physical work
- Commitment to working in a safe manner
- Well presented & friendly customer service skills

**Tasks -**
- advising on species selection, site planning and overall tree management and care
- examining individual trees to assess their condition, potential risks associated with limbs or trees falling, and determine treatment
- climbing trees using ropes and harnesses and elevated work platforms to reach limbs and branches
- maintaining and caring for trees and shrubs by pruning limbs and shaping branches using chain and handsaws
- removing dead and decaying trees, and grinding out tree stumps
- clearing trees around powerlines

**Other Requirements -**
- At least 4 years’ experience
- Team leading Skills - 3-5 Arborists/ Tree workers
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to work with clients from private, commercial and councils

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $68,000.00 - $93,600.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
