The Residence Manager is required to lead and develop an effective, empowered and efficient team of staff within a designated residence to deliver high quality care and service to residents of BlueCross.

This role is a senior management role within the Residential Business Unit at **Surrey Hills**.

**Reports To**: Regional Manager

**Qualifications / Experience / Skills Required / Personal Attributes**

**Essential**
- Experience in aged care management, preferably in residential setting
- Demonstrated understanding of quality management systems
- Previous experience in the recruitment of staff, rostering and performance management
- Highly organized - demonstrates can manage own responsibilities and priorities and assist others to do

the same.
- Previous experience in building and maintaining a team.
- Proven ability to manage to a financial budget and ensure overall profit result is achieved.
- Proven ability to manage conflict situations.
- Demonstrated high level of Computer literacy - particularly Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to provide staff training and coaching.

**Desirable**
- Registered Nurse Division 1 with current registration
- Tertiary qualifications in Gerontology and / or Business Management
