**About this Position**:
As the Coordinator People and Culture, you will:

- Lead the People and Culture team to support the organisation to successfully deliver people responsibilities and build internal capability to meet organisational goals, improve operational performance, support change, and build a reputation for quality person-centred decision making.
- The Coordinator People and Culture manages, coaches and supports the team to contribute to the effective delivery of Council’s Workforce Management Strategy by ensuring the Local Government (State) Award, relevant Agreements and Council policies are clearly articulated and implemented across all teams and that all leaders understand and are supported in their people management responsibilities.
- This position will lead the People and Culture team to embed a service delivery culture, enabling the team to successfully partner with leaders and stakeholders to deliver strategy, programs and employee experience projects across the employment lifecycle.

**What you will need to be successful**:

- A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Organisational Development or similar.
- Extensive experience in a senior HR role with team leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial awards, and contemporary HR practices
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate ideas into practical outcomes
