Paul Reader Snow Sports is an iconic ski store in Sydney. As the oldest family owned ski store in Australia, and we are looking for a fun and motivated Retail Casual Sales Assistant for our store in York St.

Must be available to work over the summer period (December-March) with the possibility of extending into next winter and must be available to work weekends.

**At Paul Readers, you will be**:

- Chatting and greeting customers
- Forming relationships with customers
- Explaining details about technical ski and snowboard products
- Handling POS
- Visual merchandising

**To be the perfect person for this role you must be**:

- A friendly and approachable person
- Able to chat with customers
- Passionate about skiing and/or snowboarding
- Willing to learn and expand your technical product knowledge
- Have experience ski/snowboard boot fitting (preferred)
- Have experience ski/snowboard tuning (preferred)
- Have experience mounting ski/snowboard bindings (preferred)

No prior experience required, however prior retail experience is preferred

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $20.46 - $40.92 per hour

- Sydney, NSW 2000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
