About the role
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Casual Retail Assistant to join our team at our Morie Candle Store in the following 2 locations:
- Miranda Westfields
- Penrith Westfields
As a Casual Retail Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the smooth operation of our retail outlet. Candidates must be able to work at least 3 days in November and at least 5 days in December per week.

What you'll be doing
- Providing outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering queries, and helping them find the products they need
- Maintaining the store's visual appearance and merchandise by restocking shelves, tidying displays, and ensuring products are presented in an appealing way
- Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system
- Adhering to store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant retail environment
- Assisting with inventory management tasks, such as stock checks and ordering as required
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
What we're looking for
- Experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently
- A friendly, positive, and professional demeanour
- The ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays
