A service based in Kew is looking for a passionate and organised Coordinator for children in our after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 21.5 hours per week during term time (40 weeks/ year) - the perfect balance

Hours will be Monday - Friday, 02:30 - 06:00 PM ( Stay and Play Program ) plus 4 additional admin hours.

In addition to a competitive salary, there is also a $1500 commencement bonus at the completion of first month plus another $1500 loyalty bonus at 12 months + split shift allowance + uniform allowance + other benefits + super.

About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

About the service
Based in Kew, this service has an excellent relationship with the school and their families. You'll have plenty of freedom to use your own creativity to develop activities and clubs for the students. This service has a high proportion of ELC attendance, so your ability to work with students aged 3-4 years will be rewarded.

Who are we looking for?
**A few basics you need to have**: Availability 5 afternoons/ week Maturity and the ability to stay calm under pressure 2 years experience in a related field A background in early learning/ working with children aged under 4 preferred but not essential Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children Australian work rights Holds or is working towards a Diploma in an ACECQA approved area (see the ACECQA website for more information)
