Videographer/editor Gpc Asia Pacific

**About the role**:
As the editor and videographer, you will contribute to keeping people and parts moving throughout the world.

This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone looking to take their video, editing and production skills to the next level while utilising their creative eye and storytelling abilities to create interesting and enjoyable automotive content with a mix of entertainment, product insights, events and education. With realistic lead times and an enjoyable workplace of automotive enthusiasts and creatives working in a converted studio you will be able to help concept out and put your touch on each video project from shooting through to editing and treatments while utilising the inhouse video and editing equipment.

**Key areas of responsibility**:
**Editing, Videography, Lighting and Audio and story telling**
- The prime responsibility of the role is the filming and editing of GPC’s automotive and corporate content for brands such as Repco, NAPA, Sparesbox and AMX
- Work closely with the Producer, editors, to serve internal customers from Marketing and Merchandise to create video content that meets the messaging and creative requirements in line with the brand and marketing campaigns. This includes social media, entertainment, product showcases, internal comms, product tutorials and building out the Youtube channel.
- Responsible for videography, editing, setting up the lighting, sound stage, set design, media management and equipment management in Melbourne.
- Responsible for collaborating with the team and planning video shoots including treatments, storyboarding, shot lists and location scouting.

**About you**:

- Experience in social media, content creation, freelance videography, or agency work
- Experience with multiple-camera shoots (desirable)
- Deep understanding of production process from inception to delivery (pre-production planning, studio/film set up, post-production editing)
- Understanding and proficiency with latest production equipment including Canon Cameras, Go Pros, Monitors, Modern Studio Set Ups, Mics, Matte Boxes, lighting etc (essential)
- Understanding and proficiency of Adobe Premier and Da Vinci Resolve programs (essential)
- Understanding and proficiency of different codecs and formats of media (desirable)
- Understanding of transfer, storage management and delivery of media (desirable)
- Strong interest in online entertainment with car and bike culture being key (desirable)
- Other skills such as graphic design and animation to create treatments and title screens are preferred but not essential (desirable)
