Our Client is looking for experienced Steel Fixers with manufacturing industry experience to work within a large precast facility.

Reporting to the Site Manager, key accountabilities and job requirements include:
$60PH - Minimum 50 Hours Per Week

Morwell Location

The start time is 6 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday
- Ensuring compliance with all safety requirements
- Adhering to all quality control procedures
- Preparation of mesh/bar mats and cages and fitting into precast elements
- Participating in and actively contributing to toolbox and safety meetings
- Support and participate in other areas when required.
- Completing daily timesheets.

**Skills and Experience**
To be successful in this role you must have:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Sound experience in steel fixing for beams, columns, precast/tilt up panels
- Forklift ticket will be advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings with a high attention to detail
- Appropriate trade skills in either of the above positions
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively problem solve
- An awareness of health and safety principles
- Ability to meet targets and deadlines
