Steel Fixing

  • Read and interpret steel fixing drawings and bar bending schedules
  • Cut, bend, position, and tie reinforcing steel (rebar and mesh) according to specifications
  • Prepare and place reinforcement for concrete pours
  • Work closely with concreters and other trades onsite

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter Formworker / Steel Fixer in civil or commercial construction
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • Good physical fitness and ability to work in a team
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a steel fixer is required
  • Relevant trade certificate is required for this position
  • Candidates must possess both formwork and steel fixing skills
