Lead Engagement Manager

The role Reporting to the Director of Genomics, in the office of Research and Innovation, you will forge and nurture strategic alliances with pivotal stakeholders, including senior Queensland Health executives, health professionals from diverse Hospital and Health services, government and non-government entities, healthcare consumers, academia, and industry partners. As a seasoned communication strategist, craft, implement, and assess comprehensive communication plans tailored to fortify the Genomics program and align with the broader objectives of ORI. Dive into meticulous planning, conceptualization, and delivery of multifaceted communication activities, resources, and events designed to enhance stakeholder comprehension and engagement.
With a keen eye for opportunities, identify, develop, and spearhead positive and proactive media events, and curate content across diverse channels, including social media, internal communications, audio-visual productions, advertising, speeches, publications, and online platforms. Your role demands an evidence-based approach, ensuring communication strategies are grounded in relevant research and undergo rigorous evaluation to meet desired outcomes. As a guiding force, provide invaluable communication advice and resources to project officers and stakeholders, enabling them to deliver outcomes effectively. Your proficiency extends to managing intricate governance structures, including health consumer groups and other working committees, showcasing your adeptness in navigating complex communication landscapes.
