**The role**:
Ventia are currently looking to hire a Trades Assistant working at our Defence site in South Guildford WA within a well-established maintenance team. This role will see you support trades personnel in a repair and refurbishment mechanical workshop.

**Whats on Offer**:

- Permanent Position - 38 hours per week
- Attractive pay rate $29.12p/h
- Opportunity to develop your skills futher
- Work on some unique Defence vehicle and assets

**Duties and Responsiblites, but not limited to.**
- Helping trades personnel with all types of work in the workshop
- Assisting in maintenance and store room tasks
- Maintaining the work area in a neat and orderly manner
- Operating plant and equipment where qualified and licenced to do so

**Licenses, Attributes and Qualifications**:

- Must be an Australian Citizen to work on a Defence Base
- Hold a current Driver’s License
- Have a great attitude, a good work ethic and complete tasks with mínimal supervision
- Additional experience would also be highly desirable;
- Computer Literacy using Microsoft office products (especially Excel)
- Experience in using SAP
- High Risk Work license with competencies in Forklift
- Tyre fitting experience
