**Welders and Fabricators required**
Having been to many workshops since 2004, this facility really was something else to walk through. Based in the sought after communities between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, it’s a desired location for those that are looking for some sort of lifestyle. Accommodation can be a challenge to find for those coming from outside areas, but we do have a network of people who can help us find accommodation if that is the help you need.

It’s a jobbing type of environment, where its clear that the clients have a wide variety of requirements that can be catered for. This company is extremely well reviewed by their clients online and having done an extensive walk through - its easy to see why. Not only is there the desire to look after clients in many different ways, it’s clear the capability is there also

The other thing is the work culture, it’s something that I am told is valued highly and it’s something that will be quite clear to you as you take your first walk through the facility

This is a company that has been steadily on the rise for well over a decade. And the through the last 2 years of COVID, business continues to grow. **The types of welding that you would be doing includes**:

- Tig aluminium work, generally 9-12 mil thickness
- Mig work up to 20 mil thick

Official Job Description

Criteria
- Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication, or equivalent trade certificate.

Salary Range:
$35.00 per hour

Hours:
38 hours with reasonable over time.
- Reading fabrication drawings and carrying out work accordingly.
- Technical and vocational education and training qualification.
- Good reading comprehension.
- Perform physical labouring tasks associated with welding work such as lifting and adjusting heavy objects and cleaning up work site.
- Experience in MIG welding in a precision fabrication environment.
- Proven track record working in cutting, welding, and fabricating.
- Excellent fabrication process knowledge in mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.
- Success managing and aligning to manufacturing operational safety requirements.
- Good time management skills and a strong sense of initiative; and
- Experience in TIG welding (very desirable, but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
