Our growing Steel Fabrication company located in Wetherill Park has available a full-time position for an experienced, self-managed and motivated QC/QA Officer, who is looking for long term employment.

Reporting to the General Manager and Workshop Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the processes in the Quality Management System are maintained and all work is carried out to the required specifications.

Main duties & responsibilities will include:

- Review Job specific Date/Specifications and produce QC documentation prior to manufacturing
- Dimensional and visual inspection of goods throughout the manufacturing process, and final signoff on all projects
- Overseeing NDT, and external QA Inspections as required
- Ensure that records are established and maintained to provide evidence that the QMS is being followed
- MDR compilation based on ISO 3834 requirements and/or client specifications
- Preparation of all required QA / QC manuals
- Other duties as required

To be successful in this role you will need:

- Ideally 2 - 5 years of industry experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good understanding of Australian Welding Standards and NDT
- Good understanding of various materials and relevant welding maps.
- Drivers Licence and the ability to work autonomously.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
