**About this Opportunity**

We are seeking to recruit an experienced** Production Operator **to support our operation. This is a shift work role based in our Clarence Gardens site.

We will support your training

**_We are looking for someone positive, engaging and committed that likes to learn new things while working in a fast paced environment. _**
- To be considered for this position you will preferably have experience as a Production Operator in the food industry and ideally have a forklift driver’s license.

Some of the main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

- Basic machine operation
- Basic operation of a box packer and palletizer
- Cleaning of equipment
- Quality Checks during production times
- set up of equipment
- ordering of stock
- follow processes & procedures
- Maintain a clean station

At this level, you may need to perform the following tasks or have the following skills:

- operation of mobile equipment including fork-lifts, hand trolleys and pallet trucks
- knowledge of how production operates
- Able to make decision and plan ahead
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of GMP

You must have good written and oral communication skills, be self-motivated, have a strong focus on safety, environment and quality and be able to work as part of an effective team.
