**About the School**: Bribie Island State High School is a co-educational secondary school located on an Island with a population of approximately 18,500, situated 100 kilometres north of Queensland's capital city.
**About the Role**: As the Business Manager at Bribie Island State High School, you will perform the following tasks (including, but not limited to):
- Undertake the day to day supervision and management of school support staff, including monitoring workloads and performance, identifying workforce capability requirements, and role modelling performance standards.
- Assist the Business Manager AO6 with administering day to day financial matters.
- Assist the Principal with the management and coordination of school resources, assets and facilities, engage external advice where appropriate and offer problem resolution support.
- Communicate with internal and external key stakeholders in a way that encourages cooperation in complying with technical, business and administrative requirements; provides information and advice in line with school policies and/or Principal directives; and demonstrates empathy, emotional understanding and support.
- Network with other Business Managers, departmental and teaching staff and community representatives to ensure school corporate services are appropriate and in accordance with compliance and legislative requirements.
When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
