Production Planner

**Our Client**
Our client is a manufacturing company located in the western suburbs. They develop and manufacture various plumbing and irrigation products.
**The Role**
The role is responsible for planning and scheduling production assembly to maximise operational efficiency and minimise inventory investment levels, whilst ensuring high customer service levels are achieved.
**Job Requiremnets**
- Review planned orders and create production orders using the ERP system.
- Optimise production schedule to maximise operational efficiency and meet inventory
targets and customer service levels.
- Provide ETA's to customer service and communicate any deviations.
- Work collaboratively with the M ould P lanner to ensure critical manufactured items are
prioritised.
- Support inventory optimisation through monitoring, controlling, and updating planning
parameters to achi eve optimised supply chain performance and ROI.
- Pursue continuous improvement of all manufacturing production information systems,
including ERPLX and MATTEC, in line with organisational objectives.
**Experience**
- Minimum 3
years' experience in
production planning or similar.
- Experienced in using ERP/MRP systems.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- APICS CPIM or similar.
