Residential Construction Supervisor

**Site Manager - Residential Construction (Inner West Melbourne)**:

BCT Group is on the lookout for a motivated and experienced **Site Manager** to join our construction team. If you're passionate about quality residential builds and thrive on managing projects from contract to handover, this could be the perfect role for you.

**About the Role**

As a Site Manager at BCT Group, you’ll be responsible for running multiple residential construction projects across Melbourne’s inner west and North - from architectural renovations and extensions to knockdown rebuilds. You’ll lead a crew of in-house carpenters, apprentices, and labourers, while coordinating with trusted external trades and suppliers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage up to 8 sites simultaneously, with average build times of 6 months
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring projects run smoothly, on time, and on budget
- Lead and support our in-house carpentry and labour teams
- Coordinate and schedule external trades and materials well in advance
- Maintain and update project timelines and budgets using CoConstruct software
- File split and plan jobs before site commencement
- Handle site invoicing, staff timesheets, and cost tracking
- Attend weekly workflow meetings and occasional client check-ins

**Location Coverage**:
Most projects are located in the Inner West (Newport, Yarraville, Seddon, Footscray, Kensington). You may occasionally manage builds in the North (Brunswick, Northcote, Preston, etc.).

**What We’re Looking For**
- Solid residential construction experience (renovations/extensions preferred but not essential)
- Strong technical construction knowledge
- Confident with digital tools and construction software (CoConstruct experience is a bonus but not essential. Training on internal processes and software will be provided)
- Ability to lead teams and communicate clearly with trades, staff, and clients
- Excellent time management, organisation, and decision-making skills
- Full driver’s licence

**Experience**:
