We are searching for a dynamic Purchasing Officer person with a "can-do" attitude. The best part about this role is that you will enjoy working together with a cohesive and professional team who are very supportive of each other and will give you a warm welcome. Your goal will be to coordinate our supply chain operations.

This is a perfect opportunity to fit in with school hours. The hours for this position are from 11am to 3pm, providing the perfect opportunity to earn an income while still maintaining other responsibilities.

Salary is offered in on a Pro Rata basis.

Duties will include but will not be limited to:
**Responsibilities**:

- Source and evaluate potential suppliers and negotiate purchases
- Purchase goods and services in line with company policy and budgets
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and purchasing is aligned with their requirements
- Coordinate the supply chain logistics process from sourcing to delivery
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that arise
- Keep accurate records of all purchases and maintain an up-to-date database of suppliers
- Assist with review of products received to make sure the correct parts were received and that they meet our specifications
- Discuss incorrect products with suppliers and negotiate corrections
- Assist to interpret reports and predicting future sales
- Reacting to any changes in customer demand
- Other duties, having regard to your skills, training, and experience.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role
- Strong negotiation skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
