**About the Role**:
Reporting to the General Manager General Insurance Claims, you support and directly influence the quality, efficiency, effectiveness and compliance of General Insurance claims services to Allianz customers for Motor and Property claims, contributing towards the quality of the customer experience and technical capability. This includes, Quality Management for General Insurance Short Tail Claims, and Investigations management for General Insurance Claims.
**Other key aspects of the role**:
- Contribute to and lead the implementation of new business models that will strategically position the business for success and will deliver a Quality Assurance (QA) Framework for General Insurance Motor and Property Claims.
- Lead the design, implementation and management of QA systems and processes to eliminate non-value add activities and to promote positive operational outcomes and contribute towards continious improvement objectives of General Insurance Claims Division and other Divisions.
- Drive cultural change through all levels of the Claims Controlling operations to support the above strategy.
- Contribute towards the reduction or control of claims cost inflation in General Insurance Motor and Property claims while maintaining acceptable internal and external service levels.
- Understand and oversee the implementation of global best practice in fraud detection and investigations management and maximise performance whilst meeting to regulatory and code requirements.
**Important to your success**:
- Significant experience in claims management and people leadership role for a complex, matrixed General Insurance organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and empower people to develop individual and team potential.
- Extensive knowledge of the insurance claims industry and current technology and management trends.
- Demonstrated ability to explore business insights and trends to identify and translate potential for operational improvement, growth and/or cost saving opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to read the market and understand customer requirements to identify, pursue and close business development opportunities that contribute to the profitability of the organisation.
