**JOB DESCRIPTION**

J.P.Morgan Collateral Services sits within Trading Services business as part of the broader Securities Services organization. The Collateral Services products (i.e. Triparty and Collateral Management) provide value added services to institutional clients such as buy-side market participants, banks, broker dealers, etc. by facilitating liquidity, reducing counterparty risk, and improving operational efficiency.
The APAC Collateral Services Product Management team is responsible for the development and delivery of the collateral solutions for the markets in region to clients globally. The Product team is primarily located in Hong Kong along with another Product Manager based in Tokyo, Japan.
This Product Manager role will be based in Sydney and focused on managing on collateral services product which could include collateral for Stock Loan, Repo, or Derivatives, as the APAC markets become increasing relevant for Banks and Broker Dealer in the securities financing space as well as derivatives trading.
Developing collateral solutions in collaboration with other Product managers in Hong Kong and Tokyo to provide new and effective solutions to clients, as well as improving operationally efficiency for existing market will be a key responsibility. Additionally, augmenting digital assets, crypto-currencies and distributed ledger and block-chain technologies into our Triparty platform will be critically important.
**Responsibilities**:
- Execution of the Collateral Services Product Strategy which includes understanding, planning, forecasting, and reporting P&L as well product commercial like pricing and expense management
- Build collateral solutions based on client requirements and market dynamic (particularly in APAC) as well as product requirements for relevant markets
- Manage legal and fee negotiation and Product Due Diligence based on knowledge of evolving regulatory landscape and potential impact to business strategy
- Manage daily escalations and provide guidance to functional partners as well as provide client facing teams with technical support including marketing information related to new and existing product functionalities
- Provide Product Thought Leadership through internal material and market publications and work with partner functions to deliver the product offering in a consistent way
- Act as the key product sponsor for technology initiatives, providing guidance and day to day decision making to the program and project teams.

- **Analytical skills **-Expected to disseminate substantial amounts of information and present this data in a logical manner and ultimately contribute to future product delivery
- **Strategic Thinking **- Focus on superior strategic/break-through thinking and problem solving abilities as it relates to the business and the delivery of the new product offering

- ability to gain access to individuals within a wide range of functions in the organization; earn a reputation for integrity, intelligence and problem solving
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- 3 -5 years in Financial Services particularly Securities Servicing Industry
- Prior role in Collateral Management; Securities Clearing; Derivatives Clearing; Securities Financing/Lending
- Knowledge of the Securities Financing market as well as Derivatives Margining
