**The Opportunity**:
Structured Portfolio Solutions (SPS) are the backbone of our business in Affinity, Digital Client Solutions (DCS) and National at Aon. This area of the business has been a significant growth lever for many years both in terms of revenue and efficiency gained.
The purpose of the role is to work with multiple partners to design, drive and maintain our GTMS across our Structured Portfolio Solutions at Aon. This role is focused on driving improved connectivity amongst all areas of the business, working with Operations to design and drive process consistency and carrier management across all of our SPS as well as driving our GTMS (and adherence to it) in this area.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Lead a team dedicated on servicing our Affinity and Digital Client Solutions business and representing this group in the insurance market.
- Carrier management across our SPS including handling senior relationships and Aon premium volume. They will understand and track Aon’s premium volume and yield in this space and be measured on growing both GWP and Policy Count by driving Aon’s adherence to a set GTMS and lead specific goals and targets set.
- Strategically position Aon’s relationship with the underwriters ensuring that we have a balance of relationships and options available to us. They should be looking to position Aon as the preferred broker partner in this space.
- Resolve rules of engagement for structured placement between Broking, Segments and Product owners.
- Thought leadership in this space is critical in driving our position in the market.
- Develop data and analytics strategies which deliver value to our clients including strong understanding of portfolio loss ratios, profitability and growth potential.
- Assist with Claims Advocacy and E&O remediation as required.
- Lead a hard-working and engaged team, mentor and develop skills, provide strong direction around performance goals and development plans.
- Drive and support the unmatched talent plan and contribute to a positive increase in engagement levels across business.
**About you**:
- Must possess strong willingness to achieve connectivity across the firm’s various product and solution lines.
- It is vital that you are able to be a connector across the firm both locally and globally to those that can add the most value.
- You must have strong team leadership skills to manage this team through tight deadlines and challenging Solution Line and Carrier expectation.
- Problem solving is critical to success.
- Ability to be adapt to challenges and lead stakeholders is imperative.
- Broad carrier relationships are required at multiple levels to ensure both detailed negotiation and escalation are in easy reach.
- Attention to detail and ability to lead sophisticated projects and understand tell-tale signs of where such projects are going off course.
- They must possess strong relationship building capability and be able to develop out their network in areas where they may have less familiarity.
- Influence, lead and educate colleagues in circumstances where obstacles and objections may arise in the ordinary course of implementing strategies.
- Engage global colleagues will be important to bring standard methodology to Australia and as such a global network is essential.
