We’re seeking a **Consumer Analyst,** for **Permanent, full time** role to join our close knit brand team, in our **Sydney Norwest** office**to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping customer-centric decision-making. Experience in brand, marketing, or consumer insights analytics will be useful for this role.

**Principle Accountabilities**
- ** Data Analysis & Reporting**:
- Analyse complex consumer data sets from multiple sources (e.g., sales data, customer feedback, CRM, digital engagement metrics).
- Use statistical tools and techniques to identify trends, preferences, and behavioural patterns.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate findings effectively across the business.
- **Consumer Insights**:

- Translate data into meaningful insights that inform marketing campaigns, product development, pricing strategies, and customer experience.
- Collaborate with research and product teams to interpret survey results, focus group findings, and qualitative data.
- **Segmentation & Modelling**:

- Build and maintain consumer segmentation models to target high-value audiences and personalise outreach.
- Support predictive modelling efforts to forecast consumer demand and churn risk.
- **Market Trends & Benchmarking**:

- Monitor external trends and competitor activity to identify shifts in consumer expectations.
- Benchmark performance against industry standards and provide context for internal performance metrics.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams—including marketing, sales, product, and digital—to align insights with strategic goals.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- 2-5 years of experience in brand, marketing, or consumer insights analytics, preferably within retail, FMCG, eCommerce, or digital platforms.
- Strong analytical abilities with a proven track record of working with large, complex datasets.
- Proficiency in analytical and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Educational or professional background in data science, marketing analytics, consumer research, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to turn data into compelling business insights and a passion for understanding consumer behavior.
