**Host - Food & Beverage at Hyatt House South Melbourne**

An exciting pre-opening opportunity exists for a Host - Food & Beverage to join our team at Hyatt House South Melbourne. This role offers the unique chance to be part of launching the Hyatt House brand in Australia, with the hotel scheduled to open at the beginning of 2025. As the Host - Food & Beverage, you will be working within our Food and Beverage Team to support the in the smooth and efficient running of the day-to-day operations. You will provide exceptional customer service by handling all guest enquiries in a courteous manner, bringing your personality to light, and being your true and authentic self.
- Greet, present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverage items to guests
- Provide personalised and outstanding service to all guests
- Open, set up and close the outlet
- Have a thorough understanding of all food and beverage items on the menu
- Set, clear and reset designated working areas

**Qualifications**:
**Your background**:
To be successful in this role you will require the following attributes:

- Previous Food and Beverage experience in a Hotel or a similar fast-paced environment
- A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Ability to sell and upsell food and beverage combinations and/or alternatives
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skills
- Ability to problem solve and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
