**Trades Assistant / Yard Hand**

**Location - Hazelmere WA**

**Employment: Full Time 38hrs per week**

This privately owned West Australian Fabrication Company has a history of over 38 years. The company services a wide range of clients nationally in mining, logistics and related fields. Our Perth operation is a fast-paced, high-output fabrication facility.

**About the Role**

The position offered will suit a hardworking, flexible Trades Assistant with a high level of attention to detail, who takes great pride in their work, and have customers’ needs clearly in sight.

The main duty of this role will be the use of bandsaws, pedestal drills and the cutting of metal, ensuring all items are ready for the next stage of fabrication.

The assisting in tasks around the yard and workshops, packaging completed items and general duties as required.

This role has full time hours and overtime work may be required from time to time.

**Skills and Requirements**
- Stores / packaging experience preferred but not essential
- Attention to Detail
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Organizational Skills
- Ability to work to high standards and Unsupervised
- Ability to work within a team orientated environment
- Has a high regard for Safety
- Willingness to learn
- Must have current driver’s license and Vehicle
- Motivated and Hard Working
- Forklift ticket is essential, but not required
- Must be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug testing

**What’s Available?**
- Above award rate
- 38 Hours a week minimum
- Reasonable amount of overtime
- On site parking available
- PPE Supplied following Probationary period
- Immediate Start

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.82 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus
- Weekly bonus
